kotor 2 problem

I've encountered this problem while playing KOTOR2:

 

On Nar Shaddaa there a small group meeting is held and then the Duros gang shows up demanding information. The game finally freezes after Bal-dur says "I'll take the stupid one who tried to threaten us instead of shooting us when he had the chance". The game then freezes and the error comes up and kills the program. There is not much I can do as i load an autosave which takes me directly to the scene.

 

Any suggestion what might help?

Maybe you can get a save form someone. Not me, I dont own TSL for PC.
