kotor 2 installation problem.

Hi, i recently bought KOTOR 2, which i played many years ago. I first tried installing it normally on vista, It didn't work but all discs installed properly with no problems. A few days later i used the guide for vista and tried again but every time i get to disc 3 it doesn't install at all and says :

 

Component: DefaultComponent

File: E:\data4.cab

Error: The device is not ready.

 

Previously i had gotten similar prompts which said cyclic redundancy check ect. I then cleaned the disc learning that it may be due to scratches, but now its saying this. Can anyone help. I'll email my specs if you need.

  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
