The EU will most likely force Microsoft to ship competing browsers alongside Internet Explorer, and decouple IE from the main OS.

 

The EU has yet to rule on the similar anti-trust case against MS Office (stifling interoperability), but given Microsoft's track record, especially in the EU with IE and Windows Media Player, it's unlikely they'll be let off the hook.
