Hello all,

I just installed kotor2 on Windows Vista and it doesn't work. I put the CD in, then click "GAME" to start, but all I get is a message window from Vista that KOTOR2 stopped working and have been closed. I tried to re-instal it but still doesn't work. I think that I have issue with file "swkotor2.ini" because it seems incomplete. Could somebody send be a copy of that file please?

Thank you

black knight :)

because now when i try to play the game it says that

And I reinstalled it but before i do anything with the

new file i was wondering if you could take some time

to post a step by step kinda thing so i dont place it in

another wrong place.

open up my computer.. go to program files... Lucas Arts>Kotor 2> look for "swkotor2.exe" move it out of the folder and put it somewhere safe, put in the new kotor. But you must make sure you also use the link in the topic I posted and download that new ms32.dll file and do the same with the ms32.dll file as you did with the kotor2.exe

Hmm, are you sure you followed my topic?? Replacing the ms32.dll and the kotor exe with the replacements, and running the new one as admin and xp it should work.

Turn down all of the settings at that moment, and keep reloading, thats how I solved it

it says Star wars: Knights of the old republic 2 does not seem to be properly installed, please re-install

Make sure you follow the guide step by step and make sure all of your drivers are updated. And Nhilus I have posted a faq called How To Kotor 2 on Vista.
