Was perfect; now crashes on start

I installed the game fine on my Vista here, played it for a few hours without anything wrong at all. When I came back and tried to open the game, I get a thing saying the game encountered an error. I've tried all I can think of... but it won't open.

first off, have you installed the latest drivers (for everything)?

 

Second, what's your specifications? It's hard to guess at the problem without knowing at least what graphic card etc you have.
