Obviously, this is Intel's next-gen vs. AMD's current gen. However, given that AMD hasn't announced any upcoming changes to their archietcture apart from the new socket AM2 (which provides only marginal improvements if at all), and the K-10 is nowhere near the horizon, it's a fair comparison.
