I just bought KOTORII, brought it home, installed it and started playing. I got through character creation and the intro movies and then... the dreaded black screen with music that I've since discovered so many people have experienced. Tech support and the forums offered few solutions: the most common comment on the forums was something like, "Sorry, I can't help you with that." For anyone with this problem, here is a quote from the Troubleshooting Guide that installs in the LucasArts folder when you install the game: Last Chance Graphics Fix If you are still encountering issues with getting the game to run, there is one last thing you can try which may resolve certain graphics issues if all else fails.
