Hey all, i'm new here and i just bought kotor2 and it won't work.

I've tried everything, downloaded updates, patches, tried everything!!

Could you help me?? Heres my specs:

Microsoft Windows XP

Home Edition

Version 2002

Service Pack 2

Intel

From your posted specs it seems that you are using your computers onboard graphics and that KOTOR2 jsut doesn't like it (Vid Card Status=Fail).

Its might be worth checking out the website of the people who made your motherboard to see if they have any updates for the onboard graphics but I'm afraid its most likely that you will have to splash the cash and buy a new graphics card.

Damn, how would i find out who made my motherboard?? (might seen a stupid question)

If it was me, I'd open up the case and look for any identifying marks, usually pretty easy to find some info printed on the PCB. A decent-ish artice on the subject is here. You can also try software such as Sisoft Sandra which might also help. I'm sure there are other ways (checking the BIOS for example).
