VaderMonkey323
Unfortunatly, LucasArts forgot about me. No answer in a week. Obviously Lucasarts doesn't care a crumb about us. <_< Hi guys, Have the same problem with Mobility Radeon 7500. Kotor I runs smooth with all details high on this graphic card, so no clue why I can't play Kotor 2. Btw. If someone thinks, that you are unable to play kotor 2 on older graphic cards - on my other PC, I have Geforce 2MX (I think, that's really old) and Kotor 2 runs smooth (medium details, 1024x768)... So let us know, if LA will answer your question about Radeon 7500 ) regards, Leszek I know, my card worked great on KOTOR 1. Then KOTOR 2 came and busted my joy. Still, if anyone has any ideas on how to get KOTOR 2 to work on my card I'll be eternaly grateful.

lemi
Anyone tested if the patch helps something in the issue with Radeon Mobile ? As for me it's trying to patch swkotor2.exe for 10 minutes, heh, probably should have deinstalled no-cd before running the patch ;-)
s2h1a0z
Anyone tested if the patch helps something in the issue with Radeon Mobile ? As for me it's trying to patch swkotor2.exe for 10 minutes, heh, probably should have deinstalled no-cd before running the patch ;-) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I am using a toshiba satelite: pentium 4 2.8 mhz 512 ram ati mobility radeon 7000 igp ati driver: 4.13 I have been waiting since early march for the patch ... my game would crash after character creation and opening movie and showing the inside of a ship ... i tried everything, but no hope ... downloaded almost every 'third party' driver i could find (ati does not give driver updates for laptops) to make it mimic the new catalyst drives ... The patch, however, fixed this issue .... I can finally play the game!!! ... I cannot tell u how well it works yet, because i have only had time to do the prologue about repairing the ship ... hope i have no more issues ... i am running the game as follows: resolution: 800x600 refresh rate: 60 texture pack: low grass and shadows: off movies: on ok ... so the quality is not the best ... anyway, i'm not complaining, though ... i thought that my 50 bucks were wasted because the ati mobility 7000 igp is obsolete ... (i bought the game because kotor i had worked perfectly) ... obsidian (but NOT L.A.) has moved up a few notches in my book ... my advice ... DO download the patch ... took me abt 5 min to download and 15 min to install ... worth the wait ...
