Game crashes

Hello,

 

I hope someone can help me on this, since I couldn't find a solution on these forums.

 

The problem is on Nar Shaddaa, below is a description. I don't think it's a big spoiler but just in case:

 

After you've been kidnapped by Goto when your main character enters the arena in "Jekk Jekk Tarr Tunnels", you will have to play as T3-M4 to get transponder codes. This places you as T3-M4 in "Docks" where I get the codes and destroy the HK's on my way back. However when I want to move out of the warehouse, the exit near B-5D8 (droid behind reception or something), I get a black screen.

 

 

What happens is this:

- I, controlling movement of T3-M4, move towards the door

- Cutscene in which B-5D8 tells me that I should wait and that I'm not allowed to go there while I move away.

- Normal "playscreen" appears for a second (like when you can move your character etc.)

- Screen goes black, I still have sound and can move my mousepointer, but game doesn't react to any keys (ALT-TAB and CTRL-ALT-DELETE do work). I think it is loading a movie or something here. After some time (10-30 seconds) the game exits and I'm back on my Windows desktop

 

This only happens when moving through that particular door. It never happened anywhere else. But every time I try to go through that door it happens.

 

Reading the posts in the forum I came across some things which I tried:

- Reinstalling the game

- Loading the game, ALT-TAB to windows and delete "gameinprogress" and "currentgame"

- Saving the game at the moment of normal "playscreen" and immediately reload

- Adding "Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1" to swkoter.ini

- Setting FullScreen=1 (was set to 0)

- Disabling sound and movies (via Configure in the launcher)

- Setting to lowest quality (resolution and all video options to increase quality turned off)

- Updating GFX drivers
