I did a lengthy search for this problem, but did not find it reported.

 

I am on board the Hawk and engaging in the "final" (her words) sparring match with the Handmaiden. The problem is that this battle never ends. I get her health down to a single red line very quickly, however, she never goes down. I continue to hit her and points are flying all over the screen, however, she keeps on going. Eventually she gets my health down to nothing, however, it doesn't end with that either. We simply continue to battle forever.

 

I have tried to reload from a different save, but that didn't help.

 

Any thoughts?

I solved the problem. I left the ship taking her with me. I immediately went back to the ship. When I came back, some cut scene dialog occurred. Afterwards, I went back to her location and engaged in the sparring match again. This time, I was able to complete it.
