March 11, 200520 yr I've haven't even been able to load my game since I picked it up a few weeks ago. Once I clicked on "Game" it would just go back to the desktop. I've reinstalled my computer several times in a vein attempt to get this thing to work. It would work on the first boot but never again. I had the same problem with Unreal 2004. On their forums I found a solution. As it turns out I had a virus called, W32/Pate.b. All I did was download this program: http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/. I ran the program and it repaired everything for me. The forum topic also said to install these aspi drivers here: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/winaspi.html I'm not sure which is responsible for the problem but after installing them and rebooting, both games have worked perfectly. I hope this can at least help someone out there so they can at least PLAY the game. Now I just look forward to my next bug. Good luck!
