Sound Issues

It looks like the original bugs from KoToR I came through in the sequel. Anyone else remember the slowdown issues with certain Intel chipsets that would go away if you disabled sound? That is exactly what I have. The game CRAWLS if I try to play with sound, and kind of smoke sends me into a slideshow. Speech stutters and fails consistently.

 

If I disable the sound, the game runs fine...except its a world of deafness. This is a real problem.

 

Here is my DirectX report. Everything works fine and meets the reqs and far surpasses most:

 

Anyone have a fix or also have this problem? Please post.
