freezing and restarting the computer

When I'm playing the game it'll sometimes freeze and unfreeze and then crash and restarting my computer. Does anyone have this problem and know how to fix it? I also have a problem viewing some videos like the Kreia's Fall Movie and the KOTOR 2 trailer... I can hear them but can't see anything.

 

My System specs are:

nVidia GeForce FX5900 256 MB

Intel Pentium 4 3.2Ghz

1024 MB Ram

Asus P4C800

Windows XP Pro SP2

I have some problem. And I also have Gf 5900.

I have the same problem but I have the Gf 5500

I turn off the FSAA and filtration, and now the game doesn’t crash.
