Game is pretty interesting so far, but it keeps locking up.

 

Probably some spoilers below, if you havent played more than 5 hours

 

I have amd 64 3800, 2 gigs of ram, 6800gt w/newest nvidia drivers

 

I get a memory leak or problem with textures on the first planet (not the asteroid), when I reenter area 82. Framerate gets terrible.

 

Right now though I have a game breaking problem. I cannot leave the polar icecap region. I get the cutscene with the echani and the jedi, talking about the last echani no longer being there, then the screen goes black. no gui buttons pop up. If I save the loadgame screen shows the enterior of the ebon hawk but when I try to load that game, it freezes 1/4 of the way into the load game bar.

 

I think it may have something to do with the echani duels, because I saved/loaded a few times to beat the 5 echani at once, which broke my npcs.

 

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Right now Im reloading, but thats a good 2-3 hours I have to redo the same crap. Id hate to have this crash after replaying the same stuff =(

well the workaround is to not duel the echani after you free your party-- you have to duel them before getting your party out of the forcefield.
