Possible Game Killing Bug (spoilers)

I took part in the palace attack on Onderon, but I never got to interact with the Jedi Kavar. There was a huge framerate drop during the battle and then it went directly to the cutscene of the Queen being killed. In the quests completed screen it says that I fought and killed Kavar but I didn't and didn't search his remains if there are any. Now it seems the game won't progress any further. I'm pretty sure I've completed all the tasks given for the other planets, but the game won't progress. Did Kavar have codes or something to get back to Telos' Academy? Any advice would be appreciated. I saved my games in multiple slots, but I think the saves were too far after Onderon's completion to help with this.

 

One other thing, when I ask T3 for a list of the Jedi masters and their locations, it lists Kavar as on Onderon, not deceased like the Jedi on Korriban.
