Outer Worlds 2 Crashing after shaders are compiled with FATAL ERROR message

Featured Replies

I purchased this month's humble bundle that includes Outer Worlds 2 but I can't get the game to start. It caches shaders and then shows the screen warning about photosensativity or something like that and wants me to hit space to continue but locks up there and then crashes. I've searched high and wide and though I've found other people with the problem, I've found no solutions other than to update drivers (i'm on the current Nvidia driver), delete caches (I deleted the cache files and let it recompile the shaders), verify files (I even deleted and reinstalled). I also tried the -noraytracing and -dx11 (not sure if that is a real one) command line options. I believe that the zip below contains the logs for this.

Here is my settings file. I tried to turn off upscaling and latency reduction.
