Hear me out please ,New boss request, for future gameplay imagine this!

A rare insect researcher came through Brookhollow Park carrying a captured tarantula hawk specimen. Somewhere in the park, the container was dropped and shattered. The abandoned broken specimen jar becomes a new POI, with research notes nearby explaining what escaped. 

The tarantula hawk eventually discovers the tarantula’s territory and turns the existing tarantula arena into its nesting ground. Returning there later reveals webbing, drag marks, pieces of orange wing or wasp related environmental clues and eventually the tarantula hawk itself.

  Instead of replacing the tarantula fight, it could become a post tarantula encounter or secret boss, meaning Obsidian could reuse and transform an existing boss arena while giving it an entirely different atmosphere. 

The coolest part would be the mechanics. Imagine it flying overhead, dive bombing you, grabbing you briefly, and having a paralysis venom attack. If the sting meter fills, your movement could slow dramatically or temporarily lock up not instant death, but basically Grounded’s version of being paralyzed prey. 

And after beating it: Tarantula Hawk Stinger, Iridescent Wasp Carapace, and Orange Wing Membrane could make a whole armor/weapon set.

The tarantula hawk would fit Grounded 2 perfectly and could build on the existing tarantula area in a really creative way. It would add new lore, a memorable enemy, and a great reason to revisit that location.
