11 hours ago11 hr It would be really useful if storage containers such as baskets, chests and boxes could automatically act as one shared storage pool when they’re within a certain radius of each other.Instead of having to remember which individual box contains an item, any connected storage within range could be searched and accessed as one communal inventory.For example, if I have five storage boxes together at my base, opening any one of them could show the combined contents of all five. The individual containers could still physically hold the items, but from the player’s point of view they would behave like one larger storage system.This would make base organisation much easier without removing the need to actually build storage containers, and it would cut down a lot of unnecessary box-by-box searching.
