Hi Obsidian Team and Community!

I have lore theory that connects Grounded 1 with Grounded 2, and it would make the perfect theme for the upcoming Update.

In Grounded 1, we all noticed the Black Widow egg sac in IBM arena. My theory is that this cave originally belonged to a Black Widow. When the IBM mutated and took over, the adult Black Widow was forced to flee, leaving her eggs behind. She escaped the yard, carrying the heavy fungal infection with her, and eventually found her way to Brookhollow Park and spread infection.

Defeating her would be the perfect justification for players to unlock the Tier 4 Black Widow Armor. The armor could feature the iconic stats from the first game, but visually propped up with glowing fungal spores.

What do you guys think? I feel this would be an amazing way to bridge the story between the two games and give us the ultimate spooky endgame challenge for Halloween!
