June 18Jun 18 We need more areas similar to the ladybird larva cave and the fire ant hill that have an abundant amount of upgrade rocks while also adding more of a challenge than the previous game so that we know we can find them there but have to work much harder to truly obtain the upgrades
July 17Jul 17 Agreed. The toxic ant hill a mild form of what you’re looking for, but it doesn’t have the higher tier marble and quartz; only brittle and some sturdy. It’s also really easy if you are on a red ant mount and/or have upgraded your armor/weapons. For being in the beginning part of the game it’s not a bad mini dungeon. The greenhouse area has some interesting tunnels in the walls and an ant hill but none of them strike me as great for quartz and marble resource gathering. In the first game, that fire ant hill did provide a better challenge, but it was also placed in the late game area. Hopefully, we’ll see something decent added within the next two updates. That said, the beginning areas in Grounded 2 are so big that it really wouldn’t hurt to put in a few locations that are high leveled for early game. If you stumbled across them too early, you would learn quickly you were not ready for them and would have to come back later after you improve your gear/weapons… or get really good at perfect blocking. I am honestly a big fan of this as it would give you a reason to come back to certain areas that don’t really have any unique resources in them currently.
