Buggies are causing damage to structures just by existing or sprinting around

At times, I am finding my structures are needing repair way too much and too often.

I can damage my own buggy.

Friendly fire can still hit you even if turned off by the effect getting you. I had someone hit me with a Spicy Coaltana and the effect actually hits me.
