about the mage archetype in grounded 2

Featured Replies

ok, so first of all, i would like to say that the mage has HUGE potential in grounded 2, but sadly, here's some problems i've ran into

1: not much variety: the mage weapons are very similar to grounded 1's mage weapons, i would like to see a couple more unique weapons, especially for tier 1 and 2. Also, maybe have an upgrade for the tier 2 candy staves?

2: no tier 1: the mage weapons and armor are tier 2 and 3 exclusive right now. What i would like to see is a tier 1 mage armor, and like 1 or 2 tier 1 mage weapons.

some cool ideas i have:

Mitey mage armor: crafted out of grub hide, mite fuzz, and mite fangs, it is a tier 1 armor that has a passive that on a final hit of a mage attack, you have a chance to summon a spectral mite to attack enemies, but it can only attack a couple of times before it dissipates.

sap globber: a staff that shoots a glob of sap that can slow enemies and deals a respectable amount of damage scaled down to tier 1, crafted out of sprigs, sap, and mite fuzz

thistle wand: a wand that shoots a cone formation of thistles, does a small amount of damage, but does more damage up close

PS. this will allow players to also get going on whittle wizard mutations early
