Impressed with this game, and a plea for further immersion

Just finished my first playthrough, and had such a great time with it. The story pulled me in, the world design was varied and beautiful, and the combat vs speech options felt rewarding. Marisol and Valerie were my favourite companions.

I really appreciated the way the ship and crew quarters could grow more personalised over time. Big fan! It would also be really, really cool to be able to

• sleep in the bed in the player's/captain's cabin

• cook up something in the galley like a "Homemade Meal" from crabmeat and/or apples etc , with the option for the crew to eat together, or save it for later (a small, temporary buff to health perhaps)

• have the pet also show up on the bridge or the main deck, randomly

I appreciate there are probably reasons why the game is like it is, and not a million other ways. But personally I would have loved these features for furthering the immersion of the game.
