Xbox Game Pass: Weapons mods not visible at the workbench

Hi! I saw another post about this but it was never resolved.  When I enter the workbench, I can see my list of weapons on the left that can be modded, but the mods do not show up in the center area under resources.   

 

For Armor, etc. I see them show up and can add them to my selected armor piece, but they never appear when looking at weapons. 

I can craft them, but not use them. 

Has anything been done about this? I just started playing a week or so ago, so after the first patches came out, so this is still an issue as of January 2026, on xbox, at least.
