The Game hangs on startup on the Title Screen

Hi, i installed Outer Worlds 2 from the Windows Store. I was playing about a week without any issues. Since today its hanging on startup though. I'm getting as far as the title screen where it says "The Outer Worlds 2" and the music is playing. However the "press key to continue" text  never appears and i can`t go any further.

I already updated my AMD Graphics drivers and uninstalled / reinstalled the game without any change.

Any advice on how to fix this?

Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
  2. Select Site settings.
  3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
