The mission update sound is replaced with incorrect sound effect - grating alarm like noise. The incorrect sound effect is activating when the mission updates/concludes. Any ideas on a fix?

I started a new game and the sound plays correctly in the restart. Seems directly linked to my proper save. It pulls you out the immersion completely and I cant face restarting (over 80 hours in on very hard).

Is this a know bug? Fix planned? 

Just an addition in case of any ambiguity. This doesnt only affect the quest mentioned, but my save moving forward (I am not even sure its quest related - just a bug amd when it started)

 

All subsequent quest/misdion updates and quest 'discoveries' - that lovely addicting sound of mission progress when hacking a terminal - now replaced with this horrible alarm noise
