*LATE GAME SPOILER* Main Quest Bug at "Hand Over the Calcaduceus"

Hi, I've played through The Archive, repaired the AI,  cleared the whole area, reclaimed Spireton, and processed the Rift Data. Right after processing the Rift Data I get this objective to "Hand Over the Calcaduceus" right outside the AI's Room. But there is no NPC there.

I'm confident I've done every single objective leading up to Processing The Rift Data:
1. I checked my quest journal and apparently I still need to repair The Archive despite already doing so. (Cleared Underlands, Punching Cards, and Reactor)
2. Reclaimed Spireton through stealth without the Order's help. But this was after I've cleared the Archive of protectorates. The leader NPC in Spireton doesnt trigger any conversation to get them going into the Archive.
3. I can still proceed with the Main Quest. Got the conversation trigger from VAL about Horizon Point reappearing.
4. However I am proceed to get Auntie's Choice and The Order to ally with me for this final quest due to being unable to proceed past ""Hand Over the Calcaduceus" objective (I opted and succeded in forming the alliance prior to this. I've helped Auntie get a body too)

To add on a few notes:
1. No mods installed
2. Did a clean reinstall just in case, to no avail
3. Used cheat engine to make me move faster. So I can move around fast to check if I missed anything. Bug happened to me before cheat engine was used.

i'm having the exact same problem. this game's quests are buggy as hell. this is the third quest (fourth if you count a completed mention that won't disappear) that's impossible to finish due to bugged out npcs. the other two being that moon man guy in the brig, and i can't turn in the quest for the lightning towers because the quest giver has vanished. i've been loving the game so far, but what the hell?

You have to cross the bridge and flip the switch to allow the order forces to come down on the elevator.

This has pretty much ruined the entire game for me. I just did so much to get the order and aunties choice to cooperate. I just went through all the stuff to get Archive up and running, just to get to the end and have it be bugged? CRAZY! PLEASE FIX! im probably not going to play until theres and update fix, if theres an update fix.

Hi. I have the same problem. Like many other guys on the internet.

One on steam.

I've already done the bridge thing before starting all this. I will not start again from the beginning. Waiting for a fix, even if this CRITICAL bug is known for 2 weeks now.

Exactly the same for me! SO FRUSTRATING.  Completed all quests. Says “Hand over calcaduceus”. No NPC there to receive it. I’ve spent an hour reading the few similar bug complaints here and on reddit and none of the suggested solutions are working.  80+ hours of playing.

I don’t want to replay 6 hours of the game on the off chance it might fix the problem. Very frustrating. I sure hope there is a patch coming.

The problem is solved!
Faced the same problem in the quest, but then I remembered that I decided not to call reinforcements in the archive, but to go through everything only with my team. You need to go to this terminal in the screenshot and just call reinforcements, after that a npc will appear, to whom you can give the item

Nope.

I (and many others) obviously already used this before the end of the quest.
The patch should reset the terminal, to my opinion the easier path to solve the bug. It doesn't.

I agree.  I already used the terminal suggested by  Mirole prior to crossing the bridge the first time.  When I interacted with it, it a first would not allow me to use the items to repair it but after clicking on it again, it was suddenly repaired and I could no longer interact with it.  As I did this prior to finishing everything, I figured that was the end of it but the elevators did not activate and I could not call reinforcements.   Now, I can not finish the quest as there is no NPC to hand over the Calcaduceus to.

 @Mirole you didnt solve it, you just did things slightly different than the rest of us. But, for those of us who chose the path of uniting aunties choice and the order, and decided to conquer the archive without help or reinforcements, we are stuck. We called the lift already,.went.through the underworld etc. Theres no fix for this..i just continued and now im at the endpoint. Im not happy about it, but it is what it is. I realize what it would take to fix this bug, and obsidian just isnt willing to spend the money to do so. Some things just cant be predicted. But damn lol

Adding a note that could help in context, not sure if all having same situation, I have the exact same problem, and I am suck on "Hand over the Calcaduceus" floating marker without NPCs.

Checking the Journal, I can see in "Methods of Applied Force" -> "Secure the Archive for the Order" still has the note 'The Archive is badly damaged, You will not be able to hand over the Calcaduceus until you have made the repairs necessary to generate the rift data.'
