An Aegis Against the Miasma - Stuck After Not Having Enough Credits to Assist Delphinia Bryant

As the title suggests, An Aegis Against the Miasma is stuck in "Mentioned" and the only quest note is "You've learned that a scientist at the Automech Repair Center could use some assistance." I have spoken with Delphinia Bryant once, but did not have the bits she required. I then promptly acquired the bits and came back to her. Now, the only thing she says is, "Still loitering about? I have errands that need running. Put those idle hands to some productive use." I have one response available, "You know what? I should get out of your hair. [Leave Conversation]".

The quest marker for "Above and Beyond Repair" points to Delphinia and sabotaging the facility. I have no option to collect the Zyranium gas or otherwise progress towards the shield gadget. 

Unless I am just completely missing something, I do not see away to progress the quest. I cannot find any other mention of this issue in my search online. 

Thanks to anyone with any thoughts on this, and if it is a bug, hopefully it gets fixed soon.

Oh, wow, is that what caused it? The exact same thing happened to me! I'm playing on PC and would just move on, but the questline unlocks a gadget that I now can't access (which is very unfortunate). I hope this can get some developer eyes on the problem soon!

What happens when you approach the gas cloud to the left of the door being guarded with the larger gas cloud?

I've ran through that entire building without the shield but I wasn't able to acquire anything or change the status of the quest, unfortunately.

Same issue. On Xbox. I didn’t have $1500 when she asked and I have no options when talking to her to move it forward. Sadly, I’m one day and 14 hours end of the game before I realized this was a necessary gadget.

Same thing has happened to me about an hour ago. 

Didn't have the bits, went away, came back and now I can't progress the quest as the only dialogue option is to Leave Conversation

I have the same issue. Didn't have the bits, went and got them and told to come back another day or time. 
I even spoke with Marshal Donelson and fixed the leak by wearing a gas mask helmet.
Got nothing.

Exact same issue for me. Not enough money, farmed it up, and quest is no longer activatable.
