When I go to the quest marker location, Severin is not there. Have tried reloading, leaving planet and coming back - no change.

Same problem here... Even after last updates, i tried reload go to other planets, change companions and still severing dont appear...

It only appears the text of him when you approach the location for first time but nothing after that, not even the icon of npc in the minimap

Same on my end.

Went to the location, text popped, but no audio and no Severin to be found.

Completed other quests, changed region and planet, checked on other communication devices, but no luck making him appear.

He is there but when I do that stage (ambushed) apparently it's supposed to automatically trigger dialogue..... the screen flitters for a second almost as if the a customer was about to play but is instantly skipped, and the quest reverts to "rendezvous with Aza's old friend from the glorious dawn" instead of progressing. 

 

I have no control over this and reverting to an old save does not fix the issue.

Same here. 

I had the bug already last Friday, cleared Preator and almost everything else in the meantime while waiting for a patch. Running Ver 1.0.5.0 right now but he still does not show up, playing on PC Xbox Game Pass.

I'm having the same issue. I see the "Over here" subtitle but he is not there. I even went as far as loading my last manual save (And losing about an hour and a half of gameplay), then completing the quest for Aza to use a radio from a different planet, and then coming to this location, only to find the same issue. What is everyone else doing in this case? Continuing the game without completing her quests? I'm tempted to wait for another patch before I continue. 
 

There was a patch note in the latest patch that seemed to suggest that this had been fixed. Just reporting that for me it has not changed anything. I am at the point of no return (main quest wise) and really would like to get this done before I finish the game ...

Am facing the same kind of issue. Hope they sort this out with the next patch.

Same. Devs messed up around Aza, she's a glitch magnet.

Just a note to say that for me the latest patch fixed things! NPC finally showed up 😄
