Bug: Frozen at Vox Command Center

Has anyone else encountered the game breaking bug of not being able to enter the vox relay command center?

I have gone through the entire first floor, murdered everyone on the protectorate side of the island and everytime I try to open the door on the 2nd floor of the relay, right out side brigadier montelli's office, the door opens and my character freezes.

I have not found a way around this, I have left the building and gone back. I have checked any missing missions.
The only thing that might have been a problem is I entered from the sewers, and killed montelli before the cutscene. Then killed them again, after running to the entrance of the vox relay, and getting the cutscene.

Anyone have any advice? I would love not to have to destroy this save!

I have this bug as well. I have left the relay and came back and still frozen as soon as I open door on 2nd level. Also have had several bugs with the commander where I had to fight him twice and once where two of him spawned at same time.  I am on Xbox.

"Find de Vries...". Opening door in Vox tower freezes game. Reproducible. Fought Montelli x 2. Have 2 Chainsparks in inventory. 1st battle was easy, Montell 'distracted', 2nd had cut scene with visible issues like missing pistol when killing kneeling subs.

Wanted to add image. Tried crouch, sprint, jumping and even waiting (stopped after 10 minutes). Of note, opening door does trigger music change, battle music? The only motion after freeze is gun going into the 'relaxed' hold.

I hope I can find a save prior to all this.

Well, I did have a save prior to the Montelli execution room. Heres why this is important: you have to trigger the execution cut scene. Then (!!!!) Montelli takes the elevator up! You fight him in the room that freezes the game. So, when I did it correctly, instead of the game freezing, I get a cut scene that includes a long conversation with him (see pic below and compare with above). Makes sense now why the game was freezing, the door triggers a conversation with a guy I had already killed twice. 

So, like most early crash/bug/freezes, I hope you have an earlier save. If you don't, I offer this: it is a fun game, and any time you start getting upset, the purpose for which you bought the game isn't being served. Walk away for a bit and come back when some of the fun can be squeezed out. Life is just too short to get angry at the things we cannot change. Peace my friends. I hope this helped.
