October 30, 2025Oct 30 The tooltip for any weapon not actively being held by the player's character only shows its base stats, while the one being held will show its stats taking into account the player character's skills. I think most people would assume all tooltips take into account skills and perks when being displayed and I'm hopeful you'll make it so. You can watch a video I uploaded to YouTube comparing 2 identical pistols displaying different stats when compared because one is actively being held and the other is only equipped. When I turn on the option to show base stats in tooltips the stats for both weapons are shown to be identical, as they should be. IMO tooltips should also take into account perks like Crabble Rancher and Serendipitous Slayer when they add a flat statistical bonus like critical chance.
