October 30, 2025Oct 30 Journal entry in-game states: "Follow the tracking signal. The device has let you to a cave of some sort. Whatever it's tracking must be inside." I have explored the cave thoroughly, and the only thing I could find was a Gorvian Egg. The Gorvian Egg is inside my inventory as a quest item, but picking it up didn't progress the quest at all. Quest currently hard locked.
October 30, 2025Oct 30 Hey! Had the same problem, fter some time I found a corps just as you enter the cave. You have to inspect that one first, then the quest will update to find the Gorvian Egg. Hope this helps.

October 30, 2025Oct 30 Found it, it was INSIDE the cave. The reason that I didn't see it was because a huge animal died right on top of its body
October 30, 2025Oct 30 Author Yeah, the quest seems really convoluted for no reason. Having to investigate a random beast corpse while 15 of them (that you killed yourself, so you wouldn't assume a corpse was important) litter the cave doesn't make sense to me. Regardless, I'm glad we all managed to figure it out eventually.
November 1, 2025Nov 1 So after you walk into the cave tall grass dead ahead to your left there's the body of a scientist covered in blood it seems like since the cave is full of enemies you're bound to have a corpse fall onto it which makes it hard to do this quest I spent 20 minutes searching the entire cave until I read someone else's comment about a body on top it's to the right of where the foot prints begin.
November 2, 2025Nov 2 after i spent a while can't find it, but given the monster body hiding hint. i start spraying disolve corpse thing and finally found it
