I'm getting issues where NPCs voices are coming from the wrong location. Often behind me, or in the exact location I am standing so when I move around, I hear the voice coming from that one spot and coming from where the NPC that is speaking is standing.

 

It's making locating enemies etc very annoying.

 

Any help?

Forgot to mention this in the main post, but I'm playing with the Xbox Gamepass version. Fresh new game.

UPDATES: Still happening, but now after playing for a bit longer it's being accompanied by audio cutting for a second or two before jolting back on. I've ruled out it being my headset, as a video playing in the background testing L&R channels is functioning perfectly during these issues.
