Companion + Skill Xp not working?

Hi guys. In Outer Worlds 2:

Gemini says ALL companion kills give Xp. I also understand that using skills in conversations *should* be rewarding me Xp, but they're not!

On the agent call I used my speech skill and got no Xp. At the landing platform, I disabled defences and GOT NO XP! I reloaded and killed 1 bot while the companions killed the 2 turrets and the other bot... I only got Xp for my kill...

Can someone confirm this, please?

Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
