October 26, 2025Oct 26 Is anyone else experiencing a slight flickering issue with Gsync enabled? https://imgur.com/a/MVueE7z When I disable Gsync, which removes VRR capabilities, then the flickering goes away. I had the same issue in Avowed (https://steamcommunity.com/app/2457220/discussions/2/523083364935141443/), so this must be some kind of Unreal bug.
3 hours ago3 hr I just experienced it for the first time and your solution worked. I was also seeing artifacts like if I looked closely I could sometimes (barely) see the game menu (Save, Quit whatever) when playing. However I'm on Linux so it's not necessarily the same bug, tho it could be. I have never had this before btw. There are several things I have done differently this time but I won't go into details about what I think might have caused it or what I did differently this time because I don't think the game and proton are officially supported. I just typed this in a hope to revive this thread and to mention that disabling VRR works. On monitors with high refresh rate above 140Hz I don't think VRR is that important anyway.
