Since grounded 1 I know I and so many people have desired couch co op for this game. I get it i get the arguments, "imagine getting snuck up on with half the screen space" "imagine the lag" homies homies, sit down and listen, does it matter how big your screen is when you have an extra set of eyes guarding your back? Does it matter how long it takes obsidian to smooth out the lag when we all love this game despite and because of the bugs?

Now imagine everytime you wanted to introduce a friend to this game but you dont want to just hand them the controller and scare them away from the game, it would be so much better to hop in the game with them and tell them "hey avoid that area there is a praying mantis there that will end your entire existence" we all know we have wanted to play this couch co op one time or another, so please, give us this, we WILL work through the issues with you because we love this game so much.
