Chest in the Ice cream truck missing mint globs/cannot craft ice sickles

Beat the ice sickle challenge, got the key and went to open the chest which you had to dig out. Opened the chest with the key and nothing happened. The chest just opened and no "mint globs"
dropped.

Those mint globs as of today, writing this thread are used in crafting the ice sickles. Since i don't posses those globes even though i ran around the chest and didn't find any.

Now i cannot craft the weapon at all, since i believe there is no other way of crafting them.
