Can't start white march on OSX

I've been getting the pop-up that the steward has a letter for me, but she will not talk to me about it. However, she does have a discussion topic about what I think would be the siege of Cragholdt since she mentions Concelhaut. However, I can't actually start any quests for the white march, even though I have the headings for them inside my journal. I am on GOG and tried a fresh install, but it did not help. I know other people have had this problem, but it seems like all of them had it fixed by doing that. Does anyone have any ideas?

Configure browser push notifications
