September 23, 2025Sep 23 Larva and grubs appear in my residence. The larva & grubs appear under the pebblet flooring & even on the second floor in the stem flooring. I have my base surrounded by palisade walls and it has kept out the wolf spiders and scorpions. The creatures that travel under the ground are still able to access the building and yard areas.
September 23, 2025Sep 23 the bugs that travel underground being able to get in actually makes sense. palisades sit on the ground so its not like it creates a barrier that cant be dug through.even if you think logically only the posts would be underground. as for being "under your floor on the 2nd floor", yea thats a bit of an issue. does it show the trail of dirt, or can you see the grub from the floor below? also are you able to dig it up there and under pebblet foundation? for the ones under the foundation it makes sense for them to be there, but not if you can still dig them or see the trail.
September 23, 2025Sep 23 Author Yes, it shows the trail of dirt on the second floor. I have moved palisades around to different areas at my base and the larva has randomly moved. The grubs seem to stay in the main building. My main base is at the hollowed out log area in the ceremony area. I've had the larva moving around under the pebblet flooring in the main base building, outside in the yard area and even on top of the hollowed out log. It's all within the palisades. It's kind of annoying b/c it's really loud but at least I can find the larva & kill every time it respawns.
September 23, 2025Sep 23 Author Oh yeah, I can dig up the grubs after I move the pebblet floor square so I can dig it out from the dirt. Sometimes I can dig them up without moving the pebblet flooring. Kind of odd. A grub only appeared on the 2nd floor once. I moved my palisades around a bit and they're back to underneath the pebblet flooring. 🤷🏻♀️
September 24, 2025Sep 24 This is just a random guess, from what I've seen - but I think thats a rendering issue. I've noticed it only happens for me, when I've gone looong distances, and come back home. Its like they're rendering in before the floor does.
September 25, 2025Sep 25 Author Thanks for the reply. You definitely could be right. The weird this is that the larvae seems to move around if I put up more palisades or put down more pebblet flooring. Now the larvae is in my yard area which makes it easy to find at least. The 2 grubs really seem to enjoy roaming under the pebblet flooring. 😂
