Arrows not hitting significant number of sleeping bees

There is a high chance that if I shoot a sleeping bee, my arrows will fly right through it.  The first few times I thought it must have been that I somehow aimed wrong.  But, it takes someone with terrible aim to miss something that big and you're fairly close.  The next few times it happened I figured something must be going on so I walked up so close that there was no way to miss and my arrows flew right through them.  The arrows that fly through them simply poof out of existence.  
This doesn't happen all the time, but it's happening enough that I felt the need to make this post. I will say though that it never happened before this latest update.
