vibegamer Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Features / Game Design - What's up with the ultra slow spiderweb bridges things. - The omnitool is really stupid. just bad game design imo. let me just craft my tools. - Most tier 2 and up feels not really natural it just feels artificially gated by being able to slay higher level creatures. I'm exploring a lot and just stopped caring because everything is too high level and no clear path to upgrade. - All armor is the same, upgrading is tedious/grinding. just pick what you think looks nice and upgrade that or? I don't understand it. There is way to much stuff to be crafted and most of it is just more of the same. - torches / equipping items is weird because it will unequip weapons /shield. - ladybugs just one shot.. ok cool I guess. especially annoying in the main quest. - The game feels all over the place. The scale of the park feels also unrealistically small? would be nice to have a little bit more structure to find your bearings. Its just one huge jungle now. Previously with the tree and the water + the house / shed there was some clear high-level structure. - The villain is just a little girl that is 'evil?' that wants to 'hack' me. idk. Skip all the dialog because it was annoying and bloated and now i have no idea whats going on. We are there by accident (I think?) because the bad scientists and now I would expect to have a friend inside who also hates the company. instead she just attacks us. - A lot of standing around, not sure where to go, what to do. questing system is really arbitrary. - other mounts later. Also, why can I have only 1 little worker following me. If I should decide to build an ant army, I should be able to have an ant army. And they despawn anyway 'sometimes' or on exit game/nest? - antenna bugs. are just bugs with antenna's? I don't get it. - Why do I have to select my thirdperson/firstperson everytime I load a game. its just a small feature / key bind. - Ally Hoop used to be way sassier and now she's kinda depressed. The original Ally HOOP soundbyte was awesome. Bugs (the bad kind) - my backpack was like out of the map like 1500cm away after patch 0.1.2. so yeah don't know what's in it but guess that's lost. - could only select my active buggy to summon and not the one in the nest anymore. had to go to the nest to switch. - my buggy just disappears a lot when I hit icecream or similar. weird. - spiderweb-bridges are buggy, sometimes I just detach for a bit and sprint forward - multiplayer: I did not see my friend on the map. until he died a couple of times and then he was there again.
Raven Scar Posted 36 minutes ago Posted 36 minutes ago web bridges are slow because spider webs are sticky, like walking across honey The omnitool is a unique addition and yes I get the hate but it is a lot better than swapping tools just to attack a mosquito when your digging clay Tier 2 and up, yeah I agree, but once tier 3 is in fully, the outlook may change The armours aren't pick what looks good, they may have the same stats but its the buffs/perks you want to look at, ie. Wolf armour deals poison damage on a charge attack with poison weapons, the Weaver armour doesn't Torches are an off hand item, so it will replace the shield, 2 handed and duel wield weapons, that being said it would be nice if you could have one of the daggers with the torch Ladybugs are weird with that I'm assuming you didn't play G1 in early access, it was exactly the same, just with a lot less in the beginning And that is why you don't skip dialogue on the first playthrough Early game is planning phase, but yeah, you stand around alot You can actually have 2 worker ants but its slightly buggy and sometimes they bugger off on there own Antenna bugs? If you mean O.R.C. bugs, the ones that beep, they actually have increased stats I haven't had to select perspective when loading my game, that might be a bug Hoops has grown up, she "matured" but yes bring back the original personalities, unless its a lore thing BUGS: Backpack, pause game, click game repair, reset backpacks. It puts them outside the tutorial area, if they're not there, save and load Not too sure on the summoning The buggy returns to the nest when you enter the Chill, its a thing, not a bug Web bridges have very weird physics, but its a new game, and Early Access Not played in mp, can't help there, apologies Hope this helps.
