Defeat the ORC guards at the milk molar stash still broken post update

I have tried leaving the area and doing other things, I've slept 7 times, I've tried using the resource scanner to hunt any spiders in the area and the mission is still bugged and I'm locked out of the the rest of the story.

Spiders are not returning to the area where the marker is

What do I do here? The update hasn't fixed it, I can't continue the story and me and my friends are as far as we can get building and resource wise without going further.

Has anyone out there figured out a fix?
