NytSong Posted Wednesday at 09:04 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:04 PM (edited) After the latest update, I lost the ability to equip my torch from my buggy. It used to be V to equip it while riding but now V just brings up the hotbar wheel. I have the torch on my hotbar so I tried selecting it from there, but it does not equip my torch. If I want to use my torch while riding my buggy I now have to dismount, equip/unequip my torch, then remount. I am playing this through the xbox app and I have tried to verify and repair, but that does not resolve it. I simply can no longer easily use my torch while riding anymore and it is a major pain Edited Thursday at 02:50 AM by deidre.benton
Taurwik Posted Thursday at 12:34 AM Posted Thursday at 12:34 AM i have the exact same problem, i even searched through the keys on PC and there is no key for the torch i also used to be able to equip it with V 1
gjt2287 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Same problem. This is crucial since the equipment wheel is about 2 slots too short as it is. There are 3 types of melee weapons. A ranged one. Food. Drink. Bandages. Smoothie. Shield. Torch. I un-bind food and drink but its such a pain to have to open my inventory to pull out the canteen. Just make it 10 slots. Or, give us a dedicated torch button like holding Y on controller or something.
NytSong Posted 11 hours ago Author Posted 11 hours ago I had it working for a short while and I thought everything was fixed but then my friend was hosting and I crashed and it stopped working again. Once again I have to get off my buggy, equip or unequip my torch, then get back on. I just want a simple button to do it again. What was a simple process is now a questionably functional multi-step process.
Raven Scar Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago You have to open the hotpouch and select the torch manually
