at the start of the game (PC, Steam, Multiplayer) I got stuck in the first pneumatic tube in the intro.   I entered, went to a black screen, and game froze.   I had to force close the game.   After that, My character was immune to insect damage.   The way I ended up fixing it was i died to fall damage, with my wife too far away to save me.   It was my first full death/respawn.  after that, I was no longer immune to damage.
