No matter how often we check, everything respawns except the milkweed pods. It's been at least 30 in-game days, and no respawn. is this normal?

Having the same issue but several husky weed plants and dandelions are also refusing to respawn. The two near the first ranger station/outpost respawned around four times since I started the world but after about 20 in game days they stopped. Now I'm on day 49 and haven't seen any husky weed respawn or the milkweed pods.

Wonder if it's like that Burr issue in Grounded 1, forgot what caused it but the Burr's were there but invisible, you could cut them down and collect the resources but you had to remember where they are.

I shot them from the branches, they fell to ground ...I stupidly dies from a stink bug....came back to get back and poof, no more pods!.? Definitely a big . OP should hastag this post #BUG

I thought I was the only one I kept restarting hoping they'd appear and nothingggg it's so annoying my unfinished Thach roof is the talk of the park 💔 I also found floating text near the ice cream cart 

 

I have experienced it as well. I also find them on the ground sometimes, but when I go to chop them sometimes they just fall through the map. That glitch could be related to another problem where weeds disappear when you chop them. 

I’ve been having issues with grass as well. It took over 50 game days for some grass to respawn in parts of my map.

Also having milkweed respawn problems. My roof is unfinished sadly. I also had milkweed pods fall into the world when hitting them

I've only been able to harvest the milkweed pod twice before the last hot fix. It isn't respawning after the hot fix.

Obsidian, I think I've gathered all of the milkweed and it's not respawning. It has been about 130 days since. Is the respawn of milkweed being addressed?

I can agree on that Problem. 
From time to time there are some on the floor, but they are not regrowing on the plants.  
 

It looks like the same bug we hat with acorns in Grounded 1.
