The game crashed when fighting the stranger and I can no longer open the door to fight her again. 

I have the exact same issue, died to the boss a few days ago and decided to gear up some more. Went back today and I cannot scan to open the door anymore.

Same issue. Game will not let me progress through the door to the boss fight. No fix still?

Same thing happened to me fought the stranger kept dying and trying going back only to not be able to open the door. Is there a fix or a fix on the way for this?

Currently it's an issue that is seemingly unfixable (having tried many different things to try re-enable to scanner) and i've seen over a dozen people post about this bug. It is not currently mentioned on the official bug tracker but I did contact Obsidian directly a few days ago about this bug.

Yesterdays patch still hasn't fixed this for me, can anyone else confirm it isn't fixed for them?

Hasnt fixed in my save either

Received an email from support stating they are now aware of the issue and to wait for a new patch. It is now showing on the official Issue Tracker in the Progression section.

Seems like we're not a priority. Acorn tops are the priority. 

Issue has now been resolved with patch 0.1.3.
