Story Progress Stuck

I’m doing the step that says “Defeat the O.R.C. guards at the Berry Stash”. I killed one of the bees, but the other one I shot with an arrow. It flew back higher into the sky. Didn’t have any way to reach it so I shot it again. It got pushed even higher into the sky. With no way to reach it I started building a huge staircase. Couldn’t get height enough to it. Went into photo mode and hit the ceiling and the bee is even higher than the limit. There are no other bugs to kill, I’ve looked all around the area. But I can’t progress in the story now and there aren’t any game repairs to bring the bee back. Please help, thanks!

I'm having the same and a bunch of people on steam are also having the same problem

Im having a similar issue where my game won't register the hatchery as built so I can't progress the "hatching a plan" mission. Is there any fixes or bypasses that would let me get past it?

Same here , i can keep grinding other stuff and even locate things for future quests but this Bee spawn is hindering the progress of story

I thought we had this issue but when my friend hit it with an arrow it aggro to him and it was fine. Seems finicky. I suggest using the stun bombs

People have been just building (tedious, i know) to the bee and they say if you just keep building up to it, you will get to it. 

I have this same issue except it happened with the milk molar stash. I cannot find that ORC spider anywhere and i am soft locked till they fix it.

Update notes mention that issue has been fixed. Can confirm that issue is still persisting on a shared world for Xbox Series X. Initial issue arose after player death during ORC mission in berry patch during first week of EA. Post update for 2 of 3 shared world players still shows the bee beyond reach from any player built structure height.
