July 30, 2025Jul 30 Almost unplayable. Single player and multi player. Sometimes it crashes and dashboards me when I go to start a new game or load a save file. Most of the time, I'm able to start or load a game but a few mins in and my entire Xbox just shuts off...

July 31, 2025Jul 31 Game is constantly crashing when playing with buds. If not glitching or phasing me through objects it’s crashing us out. Sometimes to the point of every time I go to load back in it won’t allow me to go in without crashing in the loading screen.
August 4, 2025Aug 4 I play on Xbox on gamepass and my game after i play for a different amount of time,it will send me to the starter screen and this happens even if i start a new game . Its verry annoying so gave up for now. Btw im on xbox serious x.
August 6, 2025Aug 6 I’m in the branches at the checkpoint area with the paper girl pointing at the door. I fell from branches launched back to save stuck on black loading screen, reset Xbox multiple times still stuck. I’ve played quite a bit so far and I can say also the game would crash every 30 minutes of playing. I understand it’s still in development but a lot of time was lost. August 6, 2025Aug 6 It's crashing worse after patch... It used to be mainly when interacting with a workbench going through them or going through menus but now it's crashing during gameplay. This is on Sirius X
August 6, 2025Aug 6 Obsidians response when I informed them and I quote, "Since you are experiencing constant crashes, this could be related to your console. Firstly, we would suggest you check that the console is not overheating. If the console has proper airflow and you are still experiencing constant crashes, we suggest you try the steps mentioned in the following article: Xbox Support | Help with crashes." I know it's not my console since other games work just fine.

August 18, 2025Aug 18 Same. Even on single player, game crashes multiple times during a 1-2 hour session. If I don't save like every 2 or 3 minutes I lose progress. Xbox x
September 11, 2025Sep 11 Can confirm the game is still in a unplayable state. Constant crashes and glitches makes it impossible to do anything. Hard to be excited for new content with it being in the state it is in right now.
December 10, 2025Dec 10 Game is completely unplayable for me. It crashed 3days ago and now every time I load this save back up I crash after 3to4 mins of gameplay no matter what I do. If there is a fix for this please let me know. I've done hard reset, reinstalled the game, deleted reserved data, reduced game saves by deleting, went back a few saves and tried from there but nothing. I don't want to give this game up before it's even released in full but this is not playable.
January 13Jan 13 Having the same issue with constant crashing. Crashes every time after sleeping but also at other random points. Have tried all the suggestions multiple times 😔 Unplayable with the frequency of crashes at the moment. Really hoping the next update sorts things out as I'm desperate to play!
