After 2 hours of play on my Xbox series X, I tried to save, only got the loading files symbol on save screen. 
I had seen the auto save notice during gameplay.

i quit to menu, it said it would save. But when I try to log back in, the continue option takes me to load screen with loading files screen.

so save files either didn’t happen, or cannot be found

I'm also experiencing this. I tried to let it auto-save on log out as well as tried a manual save, but as soon as I quit my game, my saving was gone.

I know the patch notes didn't say anything about fixing this, but thought I'd update the game on Xbox Series X to 0.1.1.2 to see if it made any difference, but it still doesn't fix the saves on my console.

I tried playing it on Xbox Cloud Gaming, which had different results for me, but same outcome. Selecting to save actually shows a save file, but if I try loading my save, it always starts me back at the very beginning.
